At Posh, we offer Semaglutide and Tirzepatide (glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist), which has been found to effectively support weight loss. When this medication is used together with diet and exercise it has been shown to help patients lose weight and keep the weight off in patients with obesity.  Patients must meet specific criteria to be able to be considered for these medications. They are not designed for patients who want to lose just a few pounds. 

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide work to reduce appetite, slow down the emptying of the stomach, and increase feelings of fullness. GLP-1s have shown promising results in clinical trials to help decrease body weight in patients who suffer from obesity.  This combination helps to develop good life long habits to help maintain weight loss.  Semaglutide is administered once a week by injection, which makes it more convenient than other medications that need to be taken several times a day. This medicine is available by prescription only.
